How Does Procreation Fit Into the Idea of Same-sex Marriages?

The institution of marriage is falling apart, the cracks in the entire construction of marital relationship is hitting right on our faces and we are still merely thinking what exactly is the problem and why are so many marriages falling apart due to no apparent reasons. In the present times when we hear about couples married for more than 30 years we literally gape at them with shocking astonishment like is it true. Well, we certainly need to take a rain-check on what is happening with today's generation wherein they really do want to get married and settle down but they are not ready to sacrifice anything at all, because where marriage is concerned no one can move forward in the delicate marital relationship without any sacrifices. Now, there plunges another vital problem at our faces, what is happening to our world and why is it suddenly promoting the occurrence of same sex marriages? Suddenly, we turn around and find that half of the world has turned gay and we are still pondering when did this happen so fast.

Well, gay marriages have stuck a big question-marks right in front of us, to propose it or oppose it. I guess, the entire world is still thinking over it and we are yet to finalize on the outcome of the whole debate going on for same-sex marriages. Each individual's perspective is based on the points which he/she thinks supports his point of view, but however, this is not true, because we are still not quite well-versed with the situation of gay marriages happening around us. Consider the fact that 48 out of the 50 American states are against lesbian and gay marriages? This fact completely agrees to the conclusion that United States of America as a nation does not consider to legalize gay marriages which in all means they do not consider it the 'norm'. It is a clear fact that the tendency in gays is not what they build to offend others but is what has been bestowed to them by the only Creator. Even if we consider gay marriages to be normal, so then what happens to one of the primary reasons of marriage which can be nothing other than procreation? A strong argument why the whole institution of marriages have been started is to make sure that there is continuity to the human race and this concept of family provides the right environment suitable for raising children.

It is not that gays and lesbians do not parent; in fact, it has been observed that there are 1 to 5 million of lesbian mothers and 1 to 3 million of gay fathers in United States. The whole discussion is not to challenge the parenting skills of these sections of the society, but the whole idea is how good an atmosphere would gays or lesbians would be able to provide so as to be able to raise the children in the best way possible.

Marriages brought together the unification of two souls not only for companionship but, keeping one concept as its foundation that a man completes the woman and the woman in turn, completes the man in the marital relationship. Time will be the perfect judge and will show us what should be the correct answer to this ongoing debate.
